Brackley Beach – Dalvay by the Sea

Brackley Beach – Gulf Shore Way is a 12.6-kilometer point-to-point trail located near Brackley Beach, Prince Edward Island. This trail is a filled with beautiful beaches and little wooded trails perfect for sightseeing. Along your way you will come across Richards Wharf. The hidden sea shanty serves up some of the best to-go fish and chips PEI has to offer.

A few minutes past Richards you will come to the historical Dalvay by the Sea built in 1895. This historic Inn is filled with fascinating history about the MacDonald family and how Dalvay by the Sea started. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, bird watching, and road biking.

Getting to Brackley Beach

From Sydney Boutique Inn & Suites, head northwest on Weymouth Street toward Sydney Street   ~.55 km

Weymouth Street turns slightly right and becomes Longworth Avenue   ~.6 km

Continue onto St. Peters Road   ~1.5 km

Turn left onto Brackley Point Road (signs for Brackley)   ~1.3 km

At the roundabout, continue straight to stay on Brackley Point Road   ~1.8 km

At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Brackley Point Road   ~14.2 km

Brackley Beach to Dalvay by the Sea

From Brackley Beach, head north on Brackley Point Road toward Beaumaris Drive   ~2.9 km

Continue onto Gulf Shore Parkway E.   ~9.8 km
